Beware of BRIM Property Management

Be wise and steer clear of Bernard Robinson and BRIM Inc.

There are lots of real estate management companies in DC. For this discussion we are focusing on residential management of condominiums and on one company in particular -- BRIM Inc. located at 4400 Macarthur Blvd in Northwest Washington, DC.

This outfit is headed by shadowy figure named Bernard "Bernie" Robinson. He has been lingering around Washington for a number of years and has managed several properties in the DC area. He is rumored to have a criminal record for embezzlement from the condo fees at one of his properties. People who have asked too many questions at condo association meetings have been intimidated by him and been met with "unforeseen expenses" relating to their unit which must be handled "immediately." As someone who has been at the mercy of BRIM, please take my advice and steer clear of this man and his firm.
